Welcome - I'm Debs Grace

When life feels tough, it takes courage to reach out for support.  My aim is to create a safe, confidential space where you can feel heard. Whether you’re navigating loss, feeling overwhelmed, or simply sensing that something in your life needs to shift, therapy can be a gentle and empowering place to begin.

My practice is trauma-informed, which means we move at your pace, with safety and compassion at the centre of our work. You don’t have to carry everything on your own. I’m here to walk alongside you.

About Me

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  I welcome adults from all walks of life, whether you’re looking for support with a specific challenge or simply seeking space for growth and reflection.

My Approach

I work primarily with Transactional Analysis (TA), a compassionate approach that helps us understand how we think, feel, and relate to others. Through TA, we explore your patterns, beliefs, and emotional world with curiosity rather than judgment.

I also work in an integrative way, blending different therapeutic approaches to suit your needs. No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn’t be either. Together, we’ll find what works best for you.

Clients have described my style as warm, relational and gently encouraging. My role is to offer a space where you can explore what’s difficult while discovering new strengths, insights, and possibilities.

Getting Started

Your first step is a free phone consultation, where we can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to gain. It’s a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure—just space for you to explore your options.

Appointments and Fees

I live and work in Manchester and can offer face-to-face appointments.  If you prefer, I also offer online sessions, so you can access therapy from the comfort of your own home.

If you choose to continue, sessions last 50 minutes and cost £50. We’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you, with time to reflect, process, and grow.

Over time, therapy can help you:

  • Feel more grounded and emotionally settled
  • Understand the roots of your patterns and difficulties
  • Build healthier relationships—with others and yourself
  • Develop tools to navigate anxiety, grief, or low mood
  • Regain a sense of confidence, direction, and self-worth
